অনেক দিন পর আবার লিখলাম।মনটা অনেক খারাপ।আমাদের এক বন্ধু আজ হঠাৎ আমাদের ছেড়ে চিরকালের জন্য চলে গেল।লিখন বেশ কিছু দিন ধরেই অসুস্থ ছিল। তবে ও যে ক্যান্সারে ভুগছিল,তা আমরা কেউ জানতাম না।৮ ই জুলাই তাই আমাদের জন্য বেদনার দিন হয়ে রইল।

How to detect virus which runs from pen-drive

I think it is time to describe some of my work here. Most of the computer are affected by viruses with pen-drive. And i think all of us know the golden word--"Prevention is better than cure". So if we can reject viruses from our pen-drive than, most of the problem can be solved. This tutorial for windows user.

1. Firstly after inserting your pen-drive into the computer please don't open it with double click or not even open it with right click ( I will describe it later). So what should you do. Go to command link (windows key + r) and write down cmd.












2. It will open command line for you. Write down your pen-drive volume name (like c:,d: etc) and press ENTER. Write 'attrib' command on it. The screen shot looks like


















3. Search any item with 'autorun.inf' file. Delete it. If it is a system file and read only file you can't delete it with simple del command. (If you type del autorun.inf at command line it will delete it). You can see from the previous picture that at the left side of the file name there are some other word like 'A' or 'SHR'. S - means system file, H - Hidden file, R - Read only file. So to delete 'autorun.inf' simply type del -s -h -r autorun.inf. Now autorun.inf delete parmanently from your pen-drive.

4. At this point you are curious to know what is autorun.inf file. Autorun.inf file is used to run a program automatically. That is when you insert your pen-drive and double click on it or select open fright click on it the code of the virus will run automatically without knowing you. Autorun.inf itself is not a virus but it help the virus code to run it automatically.

5. If you are curious enough you can open autorun.inf (in command line edit autorun.inf) and see what is writing on it.

6. And delete any unknown file from your pen-drive.

7. If you feel trouble to do all the works mentioned. Please download the batch file and check viruses after inserting pen-drive into your machine.

Making Windows XP Genuine

* Click on Start and then Run.

* In the text box in the Run window, type regedit and click OK. This will open the Registry Editor program.

* Locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder under My Computer and click on the (+) sign next the folder name to expand the folder.

* Continue to expand folders until you reach the:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Current Version\WPAEvents registry key.

* Click on the WPAEvents folder.

* In the results that appear in the window on the right, locate OOBETimer.

* Right-click on the OOBETimer entry and choose Modify from the resulting menu.

* Change at least one digit in the Value data text box and click OK. This will deactivate Windows XP.

* Click on Start and then Run.

* In the text box in the Run window, type the following command : %systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a
now click OK.

* When the Windows Product Activation window appears, choose Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to activate Windows and then click Next.

* Click Change Product Key.

* Type your new, Genuine Windows XP product key (JG28K-H9Q7X-BH6W4-3PDCQ-6XBFJ) in the New key text boxes and then click Update.

* If you're taken back to the previous screen and prompted, choose Remind me later.

* Restart your PC.

Repair Boot Sector Problem

When you delete a logical drive from your partition (from windows) which may carry a different operating system (such as fedora x, red hat) then it will create a great problem when you reboot your system. No operating system is found, only grub comes. So how can you fix it?

1. Insert the xp-cd to your cd/dvd rom
2. From the wellcome screen select repair (press r)
3. Now you find a command Line
4. Select your windows number
5. Type it and press ENTER
6. Type Admit Password or press ENTER (if no password simply press ENTER)
7. Type FIXBOOT (press ENTER)
8. Type FIXMBR (press ENTER)
9. Exit

Now Boot sector comes!

Friends, We are in deep pressure. And this not to mention here that, how are you now? I think it is now a useless question. But something must be done to overcome this pressure. And at the same time we have to do a lot of extra works too. But the question is how??? And the simple answer it 'I don't know'. So no long for today.
